It's a matter of perception of course, but is it not the job of the intellectual to break everything down into the simplest of terms while holding strong to their pretentiousness and abstraction?
In any case, this is not really living. The more and more objectively i try to critique this world the less I am actually part of it. The search for truth may seem much more noble and fulfilling than drug addiction, big business, or any other kind of social deviancy, but it's really no different.
Could it be that living integrally for all of us deviants is just too daunting a task? Is it genetic or are we just broken?
